PSF vs Bracknell Town

With 3 pre-season games so far played, how does everyone feel on how the team is shaping up for the CCL campaign?

Personally,I was pretty impressed with our display against Bracknell Town and a good mixture of youth and expereince provided a decent balance to the side.

Defensively sound and Fergus Moore seems commanding as does Ryan Parsons in dealing with any threats down the wing and our midfield is better balanced.

The only real thing I think we lack is a decent strike partner for Ryan O'Toole, although the Number 18 in the second half certainly complimented him well and I hope we sign him as he looks a player that will be a real threat to defences.

Ashford Town(middlesex) will be a good test on Thursday as they have some talented youngsters stepped up from their academy side,as will Flackwell next Saturday,so I guess by then we will have a good idea as to our chances this season.

Things are shaping up very well.

Joe looks at home in midfield, Ryan O'Toole has a very good 1st touch and keeps the ball well, (better than Chennells in both those facets of the game) but does need a partner to link up with so tends to hold onto the ball too long sometimes - the No 5 who seems to be called Kyle looks very composed and wins everything in the air. Banfry looks a very able 'keeper so if he sticks around should provide some healthy competition for Bully.

Brandon, the young No 14 looked very lively and played with no fear which is good to see, as did the No 18 - the 2 youngsters who featured in the 1st half looked a little less confident in themselves.

Oh and the Bracknell 'keeper was a right mouthy git.

After seeing the Slough and Bracknell games I have to say what I have seen is encouraging. The back four look solid I to like the look of Kyle Anthony also looks very comfortable that back four will take some beating!!! I personally like the look of Ryan Ashe always looking for the ball plays it simple Ryan O'Toole looks as though he is going to be the main man for us looks lively and Im sure will bag plenty of goals. The young lad Kane Jones looked lively too and put himself about .

Where is Joe Hatcher not seen him yet ?? Also see Porter and Bully played in the Binfield game but not in either of the Saturday games any reson why? Otherwise a solid start really looking forward to the season ahead.

Hatcher is still on holiday. Ben has had to work for the past couple of weekends and Bully had a wedding on Saturday and I think work commitments on Tuesday.

Any news on the fair haired youngster who came on in the last few minutes and made such an impact on the game? No-one could get near him. Great close control and excellent balance for such a pup. Will we be signing him? We would be barking mad not to.
