She had plenty of chances and blew it.Never been a fan anyway, just another celebrity who came across as a spoilt brat.Talented and a sad way to die but when you waste your life like that you get no sympathy from me.Feel sorry for her family though, they obviously tried to help her but she didn't seem to want to know.

My sincere aologies to all on here for my earlier post.

I was extremely busy most of yesterday, updating the DFC web-site and dealing with club issues. No radio; no TV until late evening and I hadn't even had time to glance at any newspapers, so was unaware of the sad news.

She joins the 27 club. Is it irony that so many great musicians die at that age ?

I loved her music, if not her life-style.

R.I.P., Amy !

lets say that most rock/pop stars get their breakthrough in their early twenties therefore isnt it obvious that the ones who cant handle their gear will be dead by their late twenties, early thirties,so you get the 27 club, hardly rocket science is it.

Premier league footballers also get their big breakthrough at an early age, but thanks to a vigorous drug testing regime no-one has ever died of drug abuse as far as I know. If record companies, and TV companies applied similar rules then perhaps these wasteful deaths could be avoided.

You could argue that any addiction is an illness, not100% certain about that myself, but I can understand the reasoning behind the theory.

The people that really killed Amy was the so called friends that helped her get the drugs in the first place, and the scumbag drug dealers that don't give a toss about destroying other peoples lives.

..... which is why I advocate capital punishment for such scumbags, as meted out in some Eastern countries.

Barbaric, but difficult to argue against.
