Alan,don't accuse me of sour grapes,I have nothing but admiration for Margate but only a fool would go into such a project thinking that you only have to build a new stadium and you are suddenly a completely different side,and the people at Margate are not fools.And as for jealousy,not one bit,it would be nice for us to have such a stadium to look forward to but I am a realist and it isn't going to happen,certainly not in the next 10-15 years and jealousy is not my style,I just get what I have been given and get on with it.

I do however think they should name the away stand after me though

I think the thing is we are sorting out the playing side by appointing Chris Kinnear and we have other people to try and deliver the stadium. We are attacking our future from both sides and hopefully the two will come together and show fruit as we climb the non league ladder

Indeed,hopefully you will be playing Connie south football minimum when the new stadium is opened,as long as we are playing at that level then I would be happy lol

Frankie is spot on. Chris Kinnear is the key here. Took Dover and Margate through the leagues and have complete confidence he will do it again.
