Blimey, what happened? What did Koo go? He seemed happy a couple of weeks back and felt very positive about this season coming

 

 

Circumstances Wattsy !

 

There maybe something untoward going on at Cove ? Did Chertsey give Koo an financial offer that was too good to refuse ? A chance to go and coach at a higher level which I doubt would be the answer, but sometimes after a while, a job can become mundane so felt a change was needed ?.

 

Out of respect to their club, normally managers try not to show any emotion when they know they are leaving, for the sake of the players altho' it does become a surprise naturally when the manager tells them. It maybe the fact that Chertsey (or whoever in other cases) instructs the departing manager not to say anything up until a certain date. It could also be that Koo was contacted about the appointment AFTER you last saw him ?

 

There are so many scenarios Wattsy........

 

Nice Guy,up until your post,which is above on this thread,Forumites where supportive of Cove,then you throw a spanner in the works with your remarks.Which is your normal Modus Operandi,hoping no doubt that Duncs would bite,which he never.You see most of us on here have met Duncs,a totally decent Guy,honest and true.Likewise I have had the pleasure of Meeting the Cove Committee salt of the Earth people.So Nice Guy get your facts right before you post,else keep eating HUMBLE PIE.

The timing is not great, but you can't blame Koo for wanting to try his coaching hand at a higher level, likewise with Jonno giving the level up a go as well.

 

 

Cove may have a tricky start but I am sure they will be easily comfortable by the end of the season.

Okay here we go again. My question about Cove was a logical question which would have been made if Duncs was at Cove or not, it just happens that he is thats not my fault.

 

I've met Duncs and said ''Hi'' to seems okay to me, it's just that I don't like being verbally abused to in public on a forum, again whats wrong with that ? If you accept it that's down to you, I won't 'cos it's uncalled for but hey, each to their own level of intelligence.

 

WHAT SPANNER !....you really are very strange ! We are all supportive of CCL clubs so why do you think I'm any different, you just think I'm bad,. I'm bad (there a song coming on !)...lol !!! I have experienced the manner of how hard it is being involved in running a football club, (HAVE YOU ?) so why would I want to be detrimental towards Cove FC and please, where does it say I'm being detrimental to the Cove FC personnel.

 

Perhaps it's YOU Smudgeyboy who should get the facts right and read my posts more carefully before posting such gibberish !

Just like a politican Nice Guy,you deflect the question asked,'who were the other Forumites' who wanted to know about Cove?What relevance has my experience of running a Football Club got to do with anything?Or as you like to do,that is a put down by you of me to in your eyes to win the argument.You do not know me,so you would not know my involvement in Non League.

Don't need evidence, football people are inquisitive as people are in general. A subject crops up on a FORUM which one is allowed to voice an opinion if they want to, I wanted too !

 

If everyone was honest, do a poll and see if other forumites/posters were interested as to what has happened at Cove.

Your involvement or experience in running a football club? mmmmnn I do recall you helping Croydon FC collect the balls when they went out of play, that was nice of you.

I'm fine honestly Ace,been on the dog and bone all day getting a team sorted out for tuesday,we have cancelled tomorrows game at Horndean as it didn't seem appropriate,I forgot how much time is spent trying to organise a team its definitely not for the faint hearted thats for sure,do you know when I played we never went on holiday once the pre-season had started we always went before and anyway we couldn't afford to go away like they do now.

I can confirm that the Cove v Corinthians match is definitely on its at Squirrel lane and is a 7 45 kick off,this will be the first game played on our new surface and I must say what a remarkable job the club has done in achieving this.
