Haha I wouldn't say it's that posh Duncs.....common misconception about Windsor! Correct on the security though and best to try split up a bit if it's going to be a big group of lads (that's the case in most towns these days though), especially going to a club.

Having said that it is a good night out. Molly, you can't really go wrong late night with anywhere under the "Arches" which has a fair few bars/clubs etc. Plenty of other pubs/bars etc in town and all within 5 min walk of each other.

Jurgs does Windsor still have that American burger bar on the top left end of the high strteet as if you're coming from Egham/Staines - I think it was called Uncle Sams........... brilliant food and excellent value for money .... well then it was anyway ?

NG that is going back a few years. I'm pretty sure the place is still a restaurant, but not been Uncle Sams for a good while now.

Uncle Sams was the best place for burgers ever was really sad when it closed!!! Quite agree go down the bars and clubs under the arches for a night out as their all next door to each other!! The big Weatherspoons opposite the castle is always lively too ! Yes theres plenty of posh totty around but theres also plenty of rough stuff too!! Hope everyone from South Park has a great night in Windsor and you'll be sure of a warm welcome at Stag Maedow too!!

If you're looking at eating there are certainly a lot of places in Windsor...

If you are after a burger but not a MacD's there is a Gourmet Burger in the central station shopping centre (quite pricey but the burgers are very big!). There is also a steak house called the cattle grid round there that is pretty decent too.

If you fancy a few beers and a curry you can't go wrong with Saffron and its only 5-6mins walk from the ground on the way back to town, fantastic king prawn puri !

While at the ground try a pint of beer from the Windsor Brewery too!

Just looked at the full fixtures on the unoffical CCL site and unless I've missed a couple, it would seem that Westfields final league fixture (barring pp etc which I know is highly unlikely.....but it could happen all the same) in CCL1 is the 17th March!!

This seems extremely early for a teams league season to be potentially finished. The following w/e has almost a full list for CCL1 with a couple spilling over into the first week of April, whereas the Premier goes all the way through to the end of April (which is more like it).

I know there is a difference in the No of teams in each division and as I say above, it's highly unlikely that Westfields last game would be the 17th, but any reason why it's potentially going to finish so early (if we got to a cup final there could be a hell of a gap between the last league match and a cup final)?

Jurgs had a quick check only 30 League games provisionaly listed for Westfield, and if you win a F.A. or Vase game that will change also.

Just to answer your question, with 18 clubs in Div One (one less than last season), there was a fairly straightforward choice, which was to stretch out the matches so that they were all scheduled for Saturdays which would have just about taken us to the end of April, or to include the usual midweek/bank holiday games etc. You are correct that if we do go through the season with no postponements for poor weather/other cup matches taking precedence etc. etc. we will have a spot of bother but the overwhelming odds are that it won't happen. Last year, for example, there were 200 games plus that had to be re-arranged for one reason or another across the Premier and Div 1, which equates to around ten full weeks of fixtures.

Even in the Reserve Section, which had 14 teams last season, we still went into May to complete the season.
