Reading the statement again, I notice that it says the talks were with the Ryman League and the FA . . . Does this mean we are clear to play in the FA Cup and FA Trophy with just two sides of the stadium open?

Again I don't want to sound negative on this but there does seem to be a lot of confidence for this going ahead this time despite hurdles to overcome with the council. Similar hurdles to the ones we have jumped clouted & slipped up on before so why & what is it this time that has this confidence flowing, more on this occasion than any other,.................... or have I missed something?

 

Theres nothing wrong with planning ahead either I will admit, JUST in case we get the go-ahead, but we haven't approached the league on other occasions (as far as I know) so again what is it that gives us more hope this time round?

We needed to approach the league as the construction / works requirements had changed a bit which gave a potential problem with the number of sides available at the ground. A work-around has been found and that was the basis of the agreement.

Just trying to get things clear in my head Alan though "recommendation" dosen't necessarily mean we'll get it. Fingers crossed we do though.

As I see it this is one of the three boxes ticked that KP mentioned at the meeting last week, two more to go 1. The council approval which it appears has been rocommended, and 2. the agreement of the leases which to me is a bit more confusinf, but hopefully at the end of this week all will become clear.

I hope they have got some of those dyson handryers in the plans they are great... Being a on off 10 year Margate fan im back in supporter zone and last 2 x seasons steadily I feel we r getting better, and pleased at all this confidence that is present, having minor experience of leases, this will define everything and as hurdles come is a everest sized one.. KP seems to know his stuf don't think he would be doing this if he didn't. Also the benefits to the community are in my opinion heavily underestimated... There's my 2 peneth in the pot.
