Sports 2-1 cockfosters

 

Missed the first goal but both ours were headers ! Good workout for us an not at full strength the oppo were quick sharp an impressed with some neat stuff there goal was a header to an what a header at that!!

We'l take alot from this a very good win an the lads looking good!!

 

Redders is one of the newuns the fella i met sat!?

Great workout for us tonight . Gave a few lads who missed saturday a run out and tried a couple of formations. Camberley scored 2 excellent goals. They do work the ball well on one of the worlds widest pitches ! We scored from the halfway line !

 

Thanks to Camberley for switching the game so late in the day and good to have a chat afterwards with DB who admitted he loves a bit of fans focus !

 

Good Runout for you too NLN ;)

was at this game, not sure what to make of either team. as there was nothing outstanding. does not seem much in depth.

jj played, and seemed to have made the transition well. not sure who runs things as spencer was not around.coffee%20%282%29.gif

Sandhurst 1 - 4 Godalming

 

Thought the scoreline flattered us a little if I'm honest as we weren't at our best but I was pleased with how clinical we were in the final third. Sandhurst played some really good stuff in the 1st half and Dean looks to be putting together a useful side again who will do well I'm sure. Good luck to all at Bottom Meadow for the coming season.

RPV 1 - 3 Worcester Park

 

We looked strong thoughout this game. I don't think it was RPV's full first team though. We played pretty well and were three up after about 60-65 mins and then took our foot off the gas and let RPV score 1 in the last 10 mins with a sloppy goal.

 

Looking forward to playing Colliers Wood this Friday now

Warlingham 1 v 8 Coulsdon Town

Both had pace and they combined to have their team three up in 16 minutes with quality finishes. Then the rolling substitutions started, but Coulsdon still looked far the better side. 4 up at the break became 8 at the end and it could/should have been more. Warlingham did get a goal close to the end but to say it was a consolation would be stretching it a bit. I do not know the quality of the Surrey Elite League, but Coulsdon would seem to have the makings of a good step 7 team.

 

The worrying thing for Warlingham was not the performance, but that they only have two weeks before the competitive stuff starts. They will struggle at Step 6 unless they improve a lot.

Pre-Season means nothing really,but congratulations to Bob and Dot, 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet in Non League.Hope that the side they have romps the Surrey Elite League,and by a Miracle they get lights,so they can rejoin the C.C.L. Where they rightly belong.

Warlingham were made up of mostly trialists and ressies, rest assured they will be very strong in ccl 1 this season, take my word for it !!
