I'm playing for Sandhurst today, whereas my older brother is playing for Cove, so will update that later tonight.

Lammas 2 v 2 Mole Valley

 

Scrappy game with both teams playing quite sloppy on a greasy pitch, Lammas took the lead through new signing Gary James after he converted a penalty! Mole valley equalised on half time with a good header. Second half Lammas took the lead with a great strike through George Baldock! Mole valley scored late on with a 25 yrd strike!

Due to Bisley's groundsman not allowing the game to take place Westfield v Camberley was switched to Krooner Park.

 

It was a fantastic game of football with both sides playing some great flowing football and it ended 2-1 to Camberley Town who were well organised and supremely confident on the ball (That ok Treacle/Fanzone or whatever you are called this week !!!)

 

Anyway not sure much could be told from tonight but a decent work out for both sides although there was one very interestingly looking lino and I am sure I recognised Westfield's keepoer in the 2nd half but just couldnt place him.

Lucky your there Redders, Gary is for me playing well below himself in terms of step and is a massive coup for you lot, you have one of the best strikers in the CCL and on that signing alone will be right up there.....Good luck mate

My prediction is he will score 30 plus

Due to Bisley's groundsman not allowing the game to take place Westfield v Camberley was switched to Krooner Park.

So I take it both teams were lumping it up the field in reality then Kroons

 

Football is a game of differing styles. Be boring if everyone played the same. I often find games between teams with contrasting styles can be fascinating, whereas sometimes if both teams 'play the right way' or favour the long ball then it can be dull.

Cheers Guv, I think you would of get them if I weren't good friends with them. Gary will score goals this year for sure! Him and jamie scored 70 goals between them last year! Now with Jamie, gary, baldock, jimmy norman, Baxter and tony hadley, it looks frightening on paper!! Nathan has a massive headache on who to start but good a one to have!

Guildford city 3 Worplesdon 1,city 3 up in the first half against a very good worplesdon side who pulled one back in the second half ,city played quite a few trialists tonight ,both sides glad to hear the final whistle in the horendous downpour .

Great workout for us tonight . Gave a few lads who missed saturday a run out and tried a couple of formations. Camberley scored 2 excellent goals. They do work the ball well on one of the worlds widest pitches ! We scored from the halfway line !

 

Thanks to Camberley for switching the game so late in the day and good to have a chat afterwards with DB who admitted he loves a bit of fans focus !
