I thought we had the okay to go ahead with an 80 room hotel hence the revert back to that original plan.Surely it is just the lease we are concerning ourselves with here isn't it?

 

As for these meetings with the league do we not think we are assuming here that the council will give us what we want.No harm in positive thinking but after all the knock backs we have had we shouldn't be assuming anything with the council.Together with that I can't see us beginning works in the immediate future EVEN IF we did get the required length of lease as this will need to be put out for discussion & that will not happen immediately will it?

 

Sorry for being negative but past TDC decisions has me thinking this way.However & on the other hand I have every confidence in Keith Piper to see this through to a satisfactory conclusion so maybe its just the impatience in me speaking rather than me waving a white flag.

No change in the lease situation from before. But the Travelodge room specification requires a small change in the building size from the originally approvaed 80 bedroom hotel, but a much smaller change in size than required to go from 80 to 68 rooms.

Not sure what the problem was but it appears to have rectified itself.

on the two sided ground issue-good news- just trust that the ryman don't say one thing and then in writing/confirmation like some put something entirely different.

 

Next big day tomorrow then.

Then just £2m to find in a city loathe to invest in anything but a cast iron certainty.

 

I still reckon KP will eventually pull us through and deserve that knighthood/freedom of Margate
