MISA committee meeting July 12th update.

 

Following last night's committee meeting here are a few points which may be of interest - in no particular order!

 

1. The painting around the ground is almost complete and if not totally finished for the Welling match will be so for the Aveley game. We have youngsters from Sure Start for another six weeks.

 

The outside burger bar is being spruced up work commencing on the 13th (that's today!). Alterations to the turnstiles are also underway.

 

2. Lottery. Membership has reached 1250; we haven't set a new target but with the expansion of canvassing are hopeful of a decent increase over the coming months.

 

A donation to the QEQM of £500 will be handed over early in the season to tie in with Wayne Wilson's role at the club.

 

3. Paid up membership has reached 51 with at least a half dozen others indicating they wish to join. This exceeds last year's total of just 50.

 

4. The next two boot fairs are this Sunday July 17th and Sunday August 21st. We are toying with the idea of holding two in September before we close until next year.

 

5. The next committee meeting will take place on August 16th; if anyone wishes to come along and see what goes on you would be most welcome. No obligations, honest!
