We now have a full Wimbledon First Team on Thursday, Brentford XI on Saturday and Dagenham XI on Thursday so will be interesting to see how some of these lads cope against pro quality...all welcome down of course.

 

GP, at the risk of being moved to the Southern League forum - From Terry Brown on the Wimbledon OS:

 

"I am looking forward to playing two games this week where all of our fit players will play 90 minutes. We will supplement both sides with some of Marcus's best young boys and we look forward to travelling to Beckenham and Bedfont.

Not sure how to read that, will any fit players play both lots of 90 minutes or one of the two 90 minutes if that makes sense? As there is a game Saturday I assume the latter with it being a split squad padded out by the ressies. Hope to get down on Thursday. How much is it, by the way?

If you fancy it, and you're bringing your camera then I'm happy to add you to the gate as my guest, let me know.

I wasn't angling for a freebie GP, but thanks for the offer! Always prefer to pay, as clubs have it hard enough as it is. Don't usually get the camera out for PSF's but maybe it could do with a pre-season workout - see what the weather's like and if I actually get there! Looks like a strong side played tonight at Beckenham.

Shennan did well mate, I'm a huge admirer of what he brings to any team but felt comfortable playing with him, if only for 45 minutes.

 

In a previous post/thread, possibly headed 'Transfers' ? (Cant remember now!). who was it back then when I said Sgennan had moved from Hanworth to Chertsey. said I was wrong..................? You heard it here first, way back then ...........!

 

 

 

Sorry to show u up with ur outstanding transfer knowledge, but unfortunately I didnt sign for Chertsey.

I played a few pre-season games for them n decided i couldnt leave the ranch.. Mainly because of Terry Buss.. but also a few other unimportant reasons..

I wish Chertsey all the best for this season n Spencer has been good enough to leave the door open should I ever wish to make the move..

I'm just aiming for CCL Top Goalscorer now Pagey has moved on.. UP THE VILLA!!
