Went to 1st half of Camberley v Aldershot Town Xi. Same old same old really. Direct football into corners. Much like all CCL football and for that matter Step 4 football.

 

Have to play to your strengths Kroons! None of this 'playing the right way' rubbish, unless you have the personnel to do it.

Final score: Guernsey 5-6 AFC Wimbledon Reserves

 

 

It was a good game. entertaining although a few defensive errors lead to some of the goals.

 

official attendance was just over 1,000 and i imagine it would have been more had the weather not been so awful today (didnt actually rain during the match though!).

 

Ditto. We gifted them 3 goals and we missed 2 great chances early on

Feltham 0 v Horley 2

Feltham 2 v Holyport 3

 

1st game Horley deserved there win

2nd game we should of won to be fair, 2 down after 10 minutes didn't help, but after that we played some amazing football which was a delight to watch and should have won,

 

Horley will be workmanlike I think this season and will finish mid table

 

 

Hi Guvnor, thanks for your hospitality,

nice pitch to play football on.

I felt we should of been 3 or 4 ahead 1st half but overall happy with our first turn out of the season changing 10 players at half time.

Good luck for the season.

result 6-5 to AFC

 

We out played AFC and gifted them goals. So We should have won so there !

 

Top 3 no probs

 

I was behind the goal and our 2nd goal should not have stood as it wasn't even close to being over the line.

GD just wanted to say that all the players and teams that i have talked too are really excited that your team is in our league welcome and good luck for the season but you are the team everybody wants to beat and that is the same in the premier with new team windsor and eaton

Anyone know the Farleigh Rovers vs Croydon result ?

 

2 v 0 to Croydon i heard

 

You heard correctly Bomaya,both sides used at least 18 players,some decent football played .Would say it is work in progress for both sides.A lot of new faces in both teams,Croydon had 6 I knew,Farleigh had 3 I knew.Ref was excellent,in a competitive game.

I wouldn't say all CCL teams play direct football would you?

Cove 1 Holmer Green 1 probably our best 90 minutes so far against a very strong Holmer Green side,the game was played at a very high tempo and was also very competitive with the Ref having to remind both sides it was a friendly (no such thing in my eyes ) pleasing to see our lads looking after themselves and not being intimidated,a draw was a good result for us and lots of positives to take from this match,we are playing against Overton at thier place on tueday in a quickly arranged match 7.00pm kick off if anyone is looking for a game to watch

lol ! I couldn't tell from the stand but AFC didn't complain at all so I thought it must have been a clearly over ?
