Elninho perhaps I can borrow ur blue boots as my blue ones clearly aren't working lol!

Mine weren't working either Pagey, that's why I ordered a new pair haha! You seem a lot quicker in yours than me, maybe we wear one of each and then we'll both benefit? haha

Pagey your yesterday's news now, hope duncs had a word with elninho, for the Fans Focus squad, was Green Fingers at the Match?

Son of GF was at the match and had a solid 45 in the Fizzers goal I thought. To be fair, the young lad in the second half did well too.

Badshot Lea 2 v 3 Met Police

This turned out to be a very good workout for both sides with newly promoted Ryman Premier side Met Police bringing 5/6 1st teamers including Ty Smith, Ed Smith, Billy Manners and new keeper Matt Reed from Sittingbourne.

Badshot Lea fielded almost two different sides in each half with a number of new players in both.

Badshot Lea's scorers were Mark Anderson and Mark Peters

All in all an excellent match with some good football from both sides. Next up is a Farnborough XI on Saturday 3pm at Farnham Park.

yeah I thought Milesy played well as did most of the Sandhurst team. If they can hold on to their better players, they will be a force in the league.

can play anywhere mate.

at 21 yrs old I played as striker for Farnbro reserves and 1st team

at Ash Utd I was a striker, then left winger and then centre midfield. I also had spells at left back when called upon.

at Cove I was holding midfield, attacking midfield, played in the hole and played up front once against Dorking (of which I scored and had the assist for our other goal) dance%20(2).gif

I dont want to play right back but will of course play where i'm told. Spencer put me there to give the other lad a run in midfield. Playing right back was, and is, easy peasy although quite sure i'd get raped if playing against a lightning right winger! I'm quick over 15yds, not 50yds!!!

Had mixed reaction about my debut in midfield for Chertsey but personally felt i did good (obviously) cheesy%20(2).gif

I watched the game at Chertsey last night and must say overall how good it was,Sandhurst look as if they will have a very strong squad,Chertsey will need to get in quite a few players if they are to survive at the next levell I fully understand they are trialling at the moment and must have players to come in, good luck to them for next season i'm sure they have the resources to bring in some better players if need be.

Chertsey were missing players due to holidays and injuries from Saturday.

O'Regan right winger, Treacher Left back, Missing a centre back as Tom McGarry is our right back, and missing a centre forward. The boys that come in are exactly that, BOYS. They did ok but were not up to the same level.

Chertsey will get stronger and remember that Sandhurst changed all 11 players at half time but didnt look any weaker at all. Chertsey made no changes bar the keeper at half time and only made 3 during the second half. It was most certainly a fitness exercise first and foremost and to get to know one another.

The kid at 4, Crossley looked like one for the future.

And I see the much-vaunted (on here) Jack Bull was playing 1st half for Sandhurst. He did okay I thought.

Johnno your last statement there I feel is a testament to the squad that we have down at Sandhurst. The second half team certainly felt as if we were the "second string" (that is my opinion, only the gaffer knows his best 11), but as you rightly said, it didn't appear to be a huge gulf in class which goes to show how strong our sqaud currently is. I personally felt Chertsey played some very good football in the second half once they settled down, but there were some very unnecessary free kicks given away towards the end of the game, which ultimately lead to the equaliser. Fully agree with Dunc's previous comment about Chertsey having to strengthen, but I feel they will still have the quality to do well in their respective division.
