I might do the last 30 mins Foxyhills, don't know whether to go in goal or up front!

I played in a dads tournament last week at the Lammas, Pulled off a couple of worldys and was spraying the ball about like Glen Hoddle, I even came out of my box and took some one out! Lol! suffered for the next few days tho!

Redrup, check out the Helmet awards on the website.

Mole Valley SCR 2 Knaphill 5

Mole Valley SCR Ressies 5 Knaphill Ressies 3

Knaphill seem to have a good side but obviously you cant tell much in friendlies. We had a number of trialists in both teams and was a good exercise to see who can do what.

Knaphill obviously in exactly the same boat but if friendlies can give you any indication at all of the season ahead I think they should be aiming for top 6 in COCO 1 defo.

luke how many trialists played in the second game? im sure most of that team was playing first team last season?

Hi Ace Face

From the starting line up in the second game, we had four who were regular first teamers last season, of the rest, who either started or came on, four who were first team regulars the season we got promoted - and spent the majority of last season in the reserves, five were reserve team players last year. The rest were triallists - except myself, who was a three times retired keeper - who has finally now decided to hang up the gloves - after spending the best part of last night with ice on the knee, and most of today hobbling around.

I slightly disagree with Luke, if i am honest, i would say from what i saw, i would be very surprised if you didn't finish top 3 this season.

Briggers you are being very modest! Absolute goalkeeping machine yesterday! Took a ball in the face too as every keeper should :) Surely the management are going to try and tempt you out of retirement again :excited:

Whitby were you Knaphill's goalie then? Firsts or ressies? Were always trying to get Briggers out of retirement, he is sick as in goal :)

YHW & Luke - cheers lads, must admit I enjoyed it, but having not been able to put any weight on my right leg it was probably at to much of a cost.

Let's be honest, as much as the mind is willing, the body could probably only last 45/60 minutes a game - and that is no good to man or beast.

Still, played for 32 years, so shouldn't grumble to much

Wat you thin of the game TRS?

Keenly contested at times for a friendly!

Good workout for both teams though and i thought Lammas did very well first half with Chertsey looking lacklustre. Your forwards were giving the Chertsey backline a game. Chertsey's McGarry was convinced the ball had gone out before it was crossed for the goal. I'm sure the lino in the Lammas shirt was very unbiased ;) To be honest I didn't see it well enough and to be fair the danger could have been cleared earlier. Second half, Chertsey much better with Crossley having an excellent game and one or two I didn't recognise did well for them. Was the Chertsey no10 the forward that was at Cove last year? The only real Lammas chance I can remember second half is the young lad fluffing his shot when in on goal. Must say your second half keeper looks one for the future, might need to bulk up a bit mind ;)

Oh and you did OK at no6 :)

any one know who this is ? cardona ?

Hoping to make my mark at Chertsey tomorrow against Sandhurst. Have heard I have some very stiff competition but will give it my best.

Could be the shortest Chertsey career ever!! 97.gif

Cant wait to be fair!

Troy Ferguson.

Played in the hole and upfront for Chertsey on Saturday. He was generally an attacking midfielder for Cove.

Troy was also at Walton Casuals and Walton & Hersham I believe last season .....?.
