Feltham 4 Cove 1 we were well beaten in the end by a good feltham squad but we did get a chance to look at quite a few new faces, only 4 first team players and the rest were all trialists in our 14 man squad,In the first half we had quite a few chances with Jack Naeger hitting a post Alex Jeffers went close several times and the Feltham goalkeeper pulled off 2 or 3 good saves, at the other end we gifted the 1st goal with a backpass to our Keeper that never reached him and the Feltham lad rounded Gary easily in our goal, shortly after Gary made a great save from the same lad.2nd half we equalised through Alex as the game entered the final stages we tired and Feltham took advantage with 3 more well taken goals,as I say it gave us a chance to lookk at the new lads and no doubt Koo will decide who if any he will sign,Cheers Feltham and good luck for the season.

Mole Valley SCR 2 Knaphill 5

Mole Valley SCR Ressies 5 Knaphill Ressies 3

Knaphill seem to have a good side but obviously you cant tell much in friendlies. We had a number of trialists in both teams and was a good exercise to see who can do what.

Knaphill obviously in exactly the same boat but if friendlies can give you any indication at all of the season ahead I think they should be aiming for top 6 in COCO 1 defo.

Badshot Lea 2 v 0 Old Farnborians - Played at Farnham Park. 18 man squad including 5 new players/trialists. Good game and Old Farnborians provided a good standard of opposition for a friendly and I am sure they will do well in the Surrey Elite League this season.

Next up Met Police on Tuesday evening again at Farnham Park .

3 that were new faces to the club (the Brazilien lads that couldnt speak much English lol) + 6 or 7 that were reserve team players last season (some of which will be staying with the firsts this year i expect) I couldnt tell you which ones were which to be honest, iv only been there a month, I was at Cove last year so still learning names!

Good run out though plenty to get through before the season starts :)

Hi Ace Face

From the starting line up in the second game, we had four who were regular first teamers last season, of the rest, who either started or came on, four who were first team regulars the season we got promoted - and spent the majority of last season in the reserves, five were reserve team players last year. The rest were triallists - except myself, who was a three times retired keeper - who has finally now decided to hang up the gloves - after spending the best part of last night with ice on the knee, and most of today hobbling around.

I slightly disagree with Luke, if i am honest, i would say from what i saw, i would be very surprised if you didn't finish top 3 this season.

MERSTHAM 3 V EPSOM&EWELL 2

This game was re-arranged late on friday afternoon and was eventually played on the G3 pitch at Warwick school in Redhill,Merstham looked the stronger team in the first half and they went 2-0 up with some bright attacking football, but Epsom came back strongly in the second half with goals from Archie Okolie and Robby Burns, but in the end Merstham deservedly edged it 3-2
