Blimey,that FA Cup draw looks tricky straight away,with Binfield on the up and Reading Town- isn't Marcus Richardson there now? Both teams which,on paper we should beat but can't take for granted and if we do get through,then having to face Banbury from the league above. Not what we could have done with.

Yes, not the best of draws in both cups.

 

 

According to the local rag, Reading Town manager Mark Bartley has put together a formidable strike force of Michael Bartley, Ray Spence, Graham Lewis and Marcus Richardson. I seem to recall Michael Bartley and Ray Spence destroying us a few times in the past.

 

Binfield had a good season last year and still have top scorer Ian Davies and Carl Davies up front and Ex-Slough James Suarez. So either team will be difficult to beat.

I would prefer Reading town personally but we shall see.

 

Also all these players you mention above are surely on their way down and getting on a bit where as most of our team are young or in their peak with the exception of a couple.

Would have preffered to play away as never been to either ground, but hey means we can use it to promote Non League Day http://www.nonleagueday.co.uk/ and get a few more punters in. Not that anyone supporting Premiership teams will believe the FA Cup has already begun by then.

Beaconsfield were also drawn at home for the FA Cup, so I'd imagine this tie will be played on the Sunday.

Wel I'm fairly happy with the FA Cup draw, however the Trophy draw is slightly more tricky (on paper - remember Erith last year!) but they are both winnable.
