Just spoke with someone at the FA (I am obviously not busy enough at work) and he said they will be online @ 12pm

lets say you run a competition and indeed publicity hungry companies sponsor your competition would you either:

 

 

 

A. tell the tens of thousands of people who are interested in your competition whats going on to generate even more publicity for your competition and satisfy your sponsors.

 

B.keep people in total ignorance causing resentment not only towards your competition but indirectly towards your sponsors as well.

Does it suprise you with the farce that is the English FA.

 

They cant organise anything, look at the top, seems to be a new FA Chairman every 2/3 years - ridiculous.

 

I attend lots of England away games, sometimes they dont officially announce away venues until 6-8 weeks before a match despite agreeing them months before. By this time, we have to pay 4 fold for the cost of flights...they are clowns

Does it remind you of something from last season, a bit closer to home. (joking esl.... ) To be fair to the FA they want maximum exposure and people trying every minute to log on their site and they can give these stats to potential sponsors, makes sense for it to be lunch time rather than 8 am, maximum exposure.
