Winning each game -

Whenever the ball's in the air

You could guarantee one man would be there

Shouting out gaily

"This one's for Steve Daly" -

He always won more than his share!

 

A new boy who played is Fred Hyatt

('Tis rumoured he's gone on a diet)

With each trusty boot

He could pass, he could shoot,

And his long throw, it caused quite a riot!

 

Up front there was brave Andy Deaner

This season he's looking much meaner

He challenged each ball

(Tho' he didn't win them all)

But there isn't a player who's keener!

 

Now Wilko has caused some debate-

Some luv him and some fans just hate!

But he brings us some bite

Gives forwards a fright

And several of them he just ate!
