FA CUP CHATTER

Recommended Posts

great pitch at Three Bridges. Cove should have beat them in the 1st round of the fa cup but had to settle for a draw. In the replay we made two errors at the back which gifted them goals and they ran out 4-1 winners!

Lovely set up and as already said, great flat pitch!

Wood got 3 home draws!:dance (2):

Cup - Chessington & Hook

Vase - Dorking

Youth Cup - Erith Town

4 players on contracts this season though quite a few have left.

Some returning and an interesting new signing possible.:coffee (2):

With all due respect why would anyone playing for Colliers Wood, or even 90% of teams at this level, sign a contract?!!

I presume minimum wage must come in to this so would be interested to know how much the minimum weekly payment would be?

This is to help prevent clubs nicking players without our permission in the main.

I cannot discuss finances of course.

I believe you also have to include the players travelling time in their contracted payment. Minimum wage for probably 8 hours a week at least means approx 40-50 quid a player????

Like someone said before why would a player sign a contract at this level? Similarly why in the current economic climate are clubs at this level offering contracts???

I am not 100% in CCL but I would have thought that a Contract minimum payment would be around £70.00 which I believe has to go thru' PAYE .....VP, GF can you confirm ?

Nice guy,you must stop using swear words on here,P.A.Y.E.,next your be telling us Refs.have Self Employment Certificates.Brown envelopes are the norm, you know it.

You'll be surprised Smudgeyboy, once players are placed on contract like one is at work, players/club should go on PAYE as the player/s are officially working for the club, if they don't and the tax man chatches up with them the club will be in trouble......... but then again Smudgeyboy you're always right so I stand corrected as usual.................lol !!!

Can' imagine Rooney on a brown envelope can you............ha ha !!!

Brown envelope covers player/s expenses.........

Who have you managed Smudgeyboy ??

Nice Guy think you have asked that ' Who have I managed before' what relevance does that have with Contracts & P.A.Y.E.

I know a Firm who employ upwards of 635 People, some are decent and play by the rules, but the majority are a coniving bunch of Liars,Cheats,Who line their own pockets with Money from all of us,how many have the Tax People caught, very few.So poor old A.N.Other is highly unlikely to be on the H.M.R.C.'s Radar,as long as A.N Other is a Ltd Company they are untouchable in this Country, they just live to fight another day, under a new moniker.

OOOPS ! IT'S BROWN ENVELOPE TIME !!

I won't go into a Clubs responsibility to declare 'Wages' AND 'Expenses' to IR, plus others.

Any comments, Kroons ???

Smudgeyboy, I just asked a legitimate question. I don't know what you've done in football now do I ! You've really got to get that chip of your shoulder. If you have managed then you maybe more adept to my comments.

Normally keep quiet on your matters NG but enough is enough.

Why do you constantly have to try dig people out or belittle them when you dont even have the @rsehole to reveal who you really are?

SSSHHHH NLN remain quiet then ! Belittle ? You should really read the posts carefully and read what's said about me, 'cos I stand up and says how it is people take offence, when perhaps I should be the first to take offence.........get those glasses on NLN ! .......why should NLN does it annoy you ?

The bandwagon is getting bigger and bigger................all aboard now choo choo.......................lol !!!

Hang on a sec. It was only last Friday but I just remembered that I spent several hours writing up details on all the draws and the non-CCL opponents. Seems you guys didn't remember either LOL.
