Recommended Posts

After all this excellent weather of late, one must think that all C.C.L. Pitches will be in pristine condition for the start of the Season.Sun,rain,Sun,showers are a groundsman's dream. How's yours looking?

My gardens looking good aswell, walked over Bedfont Towns pitch(Feltham) the other day looks aswell as i have seen it over the last 4 seasons, very spongy and lots of grass

The pitch looked and played excellent in our last game against Warlingham in late April. Never seen that before over there, maybe relaying the pitch last summer paid off!!

And when he isn't pulling his cutters he hooks up a burger van / tuck shop...... Thing is he has to get someone else to drive the tractor as he is in the back..........

He must do more than drive a tractor surely,or is that all you need to maintain a ground.

You are correct Smudge No 1... He drives a tractor...No 2 he eats....... they are the two things Nut does to maintain a pitch... and by the look of his pitches that's all he has to do ... They look fantastic.
