The C.C.L. League will be in the media spotlight, this coming 6th August when Guernsey play Knaphill in their first ever game in the English Pyramid.A very large crowd is expected figures range from 2000 - 4000,the T.V. Cameras will be there in force.Does anyone know who the Officials are that have been given this high profile game?Could well be the greatest honour so far in their careers.Pressure for sure.

Correct !

The officials will be under pressure simply 'cos of the importance to Guernseyrites and history being made. I personally hope that the referee secretary is sensible and sends 4 EXPERIENCED officials who would be able to handle the games pressures with what it brings on the day.

I too am seriously thinking of going myself for this momentus occasion.

Good luck to all those who are involved and in attendance, take in the atmosphere and enjoy the day irrespective of the result !

The three match officials travelling from the mainland have been appointed and informed. A fourth official from Guernsey will be appointed in due course

Shame Kroons retired, sure he would of jumped at the chance. As for Mewey's Penalty decisions both correct in my opinion.Another point only just realised that the Woking Peacocks cannot score against us,from open play.

Catweazle, realise that you are in a C.C.L Referee's, appointment position,is there any reason for not naming the Officials?

None at all. Gareth Mays will be holding the fort, ably assisted by Paul Maskell and Tony Ireland

was of course a joke. Only 1 kent of a referee from Farnham who i will not name. I get on very well with referee's and will actually be disappointed not to be captain this year. They have a very tough job and hold them in very high regard!
