Given Able's antics over our ground plans I think it will be a long, long time before we send a team to your place for a non-competitive fixture.

Parking that-and coming back to the thread-and this is a football forum afterall- is it not also the case that season ticket holders get free entry to all psf's which seems to make the season tickets even better value ?

No. Season Tickets are not valid for PSF's as per the original announcement on the club website.

The thing is we had an early bird offer on season tickets which took them BELOW last year's prices, then we've held both season tickets and match admission to last year's prices as well. In the meatime of course costs keep rising as they do for everyone, notwithstanding the playing budget reduction.

 

It is a difficult balance to strike but the various options are discussed and at the end of the day we try to strike the right balance between the need for the football club to develop income in the summer, pre-season and through the playing as season as well as thinking about our supporters.

 

As we have constantly said, we have to build sustainability into the club and not return to the days when we out-spent our means. In that direction - as an increasing number of clubs are finding - lays disaster.

 

Of course, in parallel with the admission pricing goes the commercial side of the club and we continue to work really hard - particularly Cliff - to put things in place there too. And through the summer, I'm sure there will be ather announcements in this area as well.

 

But popular on the forum or not, please be reassured that the club does consider a number of options where apporopriate, before making a decision.

Not very often that i find myself in the same bed as Katy Price but on this one i would have to agree with her.
