Everyone who isn't a complete fantasist knows you've got no money over at BGU; but what you have got is a decent bunch of lads, who are willing to put the effort in for you and each other, and the love of the game. Hats off!

 

All this £80 nonsense needs to die off now - there are players at Ryman Prem level picking up less than that. And what manager in their right mind would be paying an ESL player £80 anyway?

 

There will always be clubs that claim not to pay but do; but I know for a fact BGU is not one of them.

This numpty Mark hates the ESL but comes on here all the time. FD is a very well respected perosn in non league football yet Mark throws about claims with no proof what so ever.

 

At the end of the day I don't give a s**t if clubs pay or not. Mark seems to have some serious issues though and needs some anger management. His banter is also woeful.

The esl have to earn respect, i treat people how they treat me they treat me with no respect they cant expect it back, i got respect by the Ridgeons and Ryman and Capital and gladly give it back.. The posters who were civil get sensible replys the fools get treated with contempt.

 

Now lose the anger and insults and you might fit in the human race.

i am the manager of BGU and i will tell you there is not a penny at the club, i find it a bit disrespecful and a diservise to me as a manger, cause if i could pay players 30 pounds a week i could get some good players to go with the good players i have, do you no how hard it is to get players to turn up in the winter or when it rains and they dont get a penny and in there head they no they can get money else where its so hard to keep players and motivate them to help me achive success and belive in what im trying to do. what i do to attract or keep players is make it has fun as possible but seriuos when needs to be, we have good banter, socialise together and they like the style of play we do, it also helps that im only 31 and been managing 8 years and i no a lot of people and very lucky to have a few of my good mates play for me, for example one of my players was earning decent money at a rymans club but decided to help me cause we are very close, and i guess its the same for a lot of managers but if i had the budget some of these teams are QUOTED in having i would say to my chairmen im failing you and the club, because i honestly belive having a budget you can expect much more professionalism from your player, cause if a player says gaffa im working tonight cant come training i cant fine him, but i bet if we paid him he would never miss training cause i would defo fine players if i was that privaliged to have a budget, some times you got to look at mangers with no budget like southend m. or apsa and take ur hat of to these guys. i have to wash the kit, carry water bottles, bibs, balls also match day secretary, etc its fing hard so please think about what your saying cause it could be damaging to managers career's, i think to even challenge the big spenders is a achivment but cause im so ambitious its first or nothing for me, you dont have to belive a word i have said but people that no me will tell you im has honest as they come.

 

Mark we do have a new little club house built and it will sell hot food so you can come to mile end this season.

 

P.S FD is a very respected man in football and is a top bloke with a lot of friends that no he is a honest man so plese play nice MARK

 

 

and just to let you no ryan lee can hardly make training and games cause his a cabbie and we pay him 80 pounds a week does that make sense, ryan lee was goner quite this season cause he said he cant commit but to have a top player like that avalible from time to time is better then nothing cause to get a player has good would cost money, and if you dont belive that come live with me mark for 24 hours a day then you can see what really goes on.
