Suspensions

Does any one know why that in our league the suspensions are for days instead of games?

In the Ryman league for example you would get a 3 game ban instead of 35 days which can be as much as 10 games!

I cant work out why there should be one set of rules for one and something else for others. Everything should be the same so that it is fair for everyone. Obviously we compete against ryman clubs in cups etc. It means our players could be banned for a game and the ryman player not, even if they have commited the same offence. Im about to start a 42 ban!:(

I think you will find it depends on wehich body manages the discipline; if the club is a full member of the FA, then they deal with all disciplinary matters. Other clubs are only members of their respective county FAs. It is these latter organisations that tend to issue far more severe penalties, usually based on time rather thanm number of matches.

Derek R is right, but I can assure you that I have been fighting with many other "feeder" chairman for years for ALL discipline to be handled by the F A ( which is matches) and they have intimated to us that we are getting closer to that ideal, though a national registration system may have to come in first. I am sorry that Pinnacle is now on holiday and any other players, too and I can only assure you that we continue to fight this anomaly with the F A ... The League Clubs will be informed formally as soon as we have any news on this very contentious issue.
