This lack of communication needs to be tackled. Its a joke when information is given to the press but not to us. It certainly gives the impression that volunteers are viewed as not important enough to be told what's going on. Attitudes need to change.

While I agree communication is a problem,I think it's just down to lack of experience with regards to the clubs side of things.

A website costs money to run, whereas the recorder do not charge for our information, therefore surely the point of information that is paid for should be the stream which receives the information first.

In defence of the people that run the club, they are old skool who were probably bought up on giving information to the local press, doubt there was much need for Colin to give info to a website at Thurrock as they have no fans.

Things like this will only be brought to the attention of the club if they are bought up at nights like this Thursdays Question & Answer night, the last time we had one,the weeks before it were full of people moaning about this and that on here but on the night hardly anyone said anything

Don't understand your remark about 'a website costs money to run'. It costs nothing to give me the info at the same time as it is given to the press. I am not going to buy the Recorder every week to see what needs to be put on the website. In all honesty the press should be looking at our website for information and not the other way round. And rest assured I shall bring this subject up on Thursday. For the many faults of the old regime Jenny was an excellent communicator and kept me up to date with all club news. If the club don't feel it necessary to communicate with the webmaster then lets get rid of the 'official' site and have one run by the fans instead.

What I meant was that to create a website, this obviously costs money initially (I think Ian also pays a small annual fee). Therefore it makes sense that any club information goes directly onto the website before anything else as it costs money to run whereas we don't pay for news to go out in the local press.

I like margates way of doing things, the minute there is some info it goes straight on to the website via wellsie and then onto the forum, these two streams before any other.

Other things I would like to see are the minute a player leaves us,we are told
