Funny you should mention Guernsey,been rumoured that Knaphill are sending a scouting Team out to the Isle of Wight today,to watch them play in the Island Games Final against the Isle of Wight.Just realised that 3 Premier sides who may of voted for Guernsey's inclusion into the C.C.L.,may never go there,once they get promoted.

They can play in any Cup in France,interestingly in 2 of their first 10 games they are drawn away midweek.Who I wonder will be their first midweek fixture at home Ash/Croydon in the Cup my bet.

In our area some teams in Surrey don't enter the Surrey Cups, Ashford and Staines for example, but teams in London do enter the Surrey Cup - Carshalton, Kingstonian etc.

Strangely AFC Wimbledon are parented to London FA, Kingstonian are Surrey FA.

Last season Guernsey entered the Hampshire Senior Cup so I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed in Surrey or Sussex this season now they're coming into Gatwick.

 

Suurrey Cup draws are next week sometime. Can't remember the exact date.

Vale Rec and First Tower in Somerset, St Pauls and Northerners in Dorset, Sylvans in Hampshire. There's probably more.

Old timer's disease Nicey. I've got a terrible memory. Luckily we have Google now which I use to refresh my memory (like in the edit above with the Guernsey teams).

I've deleted the email which mentioned the county cup draws but I'm pretty certain they're next week sometime, at least for the Senior, Premier & Intermediate cups. Don't hold your breath though. I may have it completely wrong.

Guernsey won't be eligible for the Senior Cup. You have to be step 5 or above for that in Surrey. CCL1 teams enter the Premier Cup.
