Anyone playing in any Pre Season Friendlies this coming Saturday?

I'm going to go to a game but haven't yet decided on which one. There's Bedfont Sports v Battersea Ironsides, Knaphill v Egham (although not 100% this is still on) and Wembley v Feltham.

I guess the rest of the teams are going to stick with training this early on.

Wembley still on at Feltham, three lots of 30 minutes.

Knaphill V Egham is no off from my sources and Knaphill will play a training match in Goldsworth Park.

See you over at Wembley then

Yep and you were pointed out to me as well Ant!

Two entertaining games. First one was mainly a bit of a youth & ressies Bedfont Sports team versus what looked like a strong Battersea Ironsides team. The visitors won 3-1 and there was also a little 44 man brawl as all players and subs from both games joined in during a fracas.

Second game had a much stronger Bedfont Sports team with mainly first teamers playing a weak Battersea side. The score was 6-2 to the hosts and the biggest laugh came from the Ironsides keeper who saved a shot with his goolies which he let us know about with a loud northern curse! 97.gif

Met up again with Dale the lino from the charity game, and his dad who looked after me wonderfully. Not sure what impression I had of Bedfont Sports before but I now know it to be a really nice friendly and social club. If I lived a bit closer I'd be going back a lot more often.

You were riding away on your bike at the time. I heard your bit of banter with the Sports guys just before you left. ;)

That banter is the norm still got a lot of good friends at sports and hope they do well but I had to move on and have got a big job to do at frimley but its all starting to come together.

Pop over to frimley and take in a game when it all starts

Certainly will, it's another ground I've not been to.

Why Bommie, aren't you a Merstham supporter ?

Sure, I'm also a Chelsea fan but this year I've decided to take in as many teams/grounds/leagues as possible.
