FA Vase or FA Trophy?

At what point in the pyramid do clubs no longer participate in teh Vase and move onto the Trophy??

Trophy is for step 1-4 clubs, Vase is for steps 5-7.

There are a few that enter it each year. Maybe 20 or 30 but not from this area mainly because you have to have floodlights to play in it. We've now got Tooting Bec and Old Farnboronians playing at floodlit grounds so they might be able to enter it next season depending on what the FA class as a step 7 league now. They've recently done a review of step 7 and changed it all around.
