Someone should stand outside the gates of Clarence Park selling copies of The Observer (purchased for 35p each) to fans for £2, thus saving the fans £2 entrance fee and making the club a profit of £1.65 per copy.

 

The club could then also claim back the £4 saving offered by The Observer.

We are an unrepresented minority, mate. You know what happens to them.

 

On a serious note, I haven't seen t'Observer, but if it is as mdet suggests, that's a very good initiative by the Club. The more the merrier.

 

Perhapos we can get that hack that writes for the Observer to buy us a drink if the refunds aren't on offer.

It's a very good idea, and about time.

 

To be honest, I was a season ticket holder, it would not bother me. We've been moaning about poor gates for weeks (months?) now. This is the first step, I reckon.
