These have been produced due to the need for early travel arrangements to be made. The remainder of the season's fixtures, involving all clubs, will hopefully be published on or around 25 July. The time scale is tight (as always) because I have to wait for the Ryman and Southern Leagues to issue theirs first, due to ground sharing situations.

Interesting start for the new boys! Some tough fixtures there

Lucky old Hartley Wintney. That game should bring them in a lot of extra punters, a few quid and and a bit of media attention. Knaphill aren't quite as lucky as they won't get the money but their name will be all over the papers and internet. This amount of free publicity is great for those clubs.

So - who wants to be on tele? I'm sure Knaphill will have plenty of signing on forms for everyone!

Official Knaphill FC Statement

Knaphill will travel to the Channel Islands to face league new boys Guernsey FC on Saturday 6th August in the first league game of the 2011/12 season.

 

The much talked about saga regarding Guernsey FC will play out with The Knappers as the first C.C.L side to play in the islands and without doubt be part of a much publicised opening day fixture played in front of a large crowd, as well as the local and national press & television.

 

Knaphill FC are delighted and honoured to be the first team to make the trip to Guernsey and will undoubtedly report back to the CCL Management Committee and the other league clubs to report their experience. Guernsey FC have worked extremely hard to make all this happen and we are in no doubt that this first game will set the standard for the rest of the season.

Everybody wanted them in August....gutted, hopefully last game of the season away

To be honest I wouldn't want to play them first couple of months in the season. From what I understand they've not really stopped and have been playing regularly, meaning they will be fit as a fiddle come opening day. Still on the flip side to that, being the first team to travel there and their first game away would've been decent!

 

I wonder who will be playing them over the Christmas holidays and how that fixture will work out!!
