C.C.L.Aspirations 2011/12

Recommended Posts

With the forthcoming Season fast approaching have you any views as to what would be your Clubs aims for the season. With many new Teams arriving, and many Managerial changes, things look very exciting in both Divisions.Hanworth Villa,Mole Valley, have proven over the last 2 seasons that the gap between Premier and Div 1 has narrowed considerably. So I expect South Park,Farnham,to continue this trend with mid table finishes. My own personal wishes,is to see Managers,Players, cut down their bookings to a minimum,Dissent is a pointless booking in my book, but costs Managers,Players, and Clubs hundreds of Pounds each year.SO PLEASE CUT IT OUT.Maybe Clubs should introduce an in house FINE,if any person is booked for dissent, maybe doubling it.

i would like to see the champions promoted. I would also like to see the teams with title aspirations start getting their grounds ready now rather than leave it to the last minute.

I would also like to see more responsibility taken by clubs over their own failings when they do not win.

And clearly I would like to see Camberley win the league but once again I think we will come up short.

Don't think I should be commenting on team goals really but as for the future of the CCL I think the FA need to help clubs at this level of football in the current economic climate by showing some discretion over ground gradings. If clubs have money to spend surely it would be more productive to spend it on the pitch therefore encouraging good football, rather than an x seater stand that nobody sits in.

Fair point Luke but until clubs stop paying money at this level why should the FA help. If you are paying for players then no excuse for your ground not being up to scratch.

All very well and good in hindsight but city probally didant have any aspirations of winning the league at the begining of last season ! as for the ground not being up to scratch was the clearly not the clubs fault everything the fa asked for was done by the club ,plus other facters as you well know were to blame ,waiting for planning permission and so on ,but surely every the club in ccl premier has aspirations of winning the league in theory, because you should say never say never .

To an extent I agree with you but from a very early stage people were tipping Guildford to win the league so most people had an idea you may win the league. There was clearly plenty of work to do but you left yourselves too little time to do the work. IMHO clubs should be allowed a years grace to go up and get the work done but at the moment it is not the rule. Fortuneately this year the 2nd placed side were able to go up.

You are allowed a year's grace usually - it's just going from step 5 to step 4 where they have this stupid 'E' grade that is pointless as there's so little difference between that and 'D'.

At all other levels clubs have until March 31st to get the grading for the level they've been promoted to. If they don't do it in time, they will be relegated. This year there have been at least 4 teams relegated throughout the pyramid for not having the grading

Kroons.. I agree... I also think that clubs that finish in the relegation positions should be relegated..... regardless.

If there's no Clubs (or insufficient Clubs) able to go up to replace them, that Division is then short of Clubs??
