Darron Wilkinson

Never Hyatt. Seems a lovely bloke but he has been crap this season. His first touch is always dreadful and he is incredibly SLOW. Wilko must always play when fit. The team should be 4-4-2 as BFR said. SIMPLE.

Wilko was very good in what was an excelloent midfield performance. And having had a slight go at him, it was a decent cameo from Hyatt but he would not have been my choice to replace Booty.

Don't now what the injury was but it seemed a heavy knock and he was in some discomfort. Doubt we will see him Tuesday. So a move to 4-4-2 but not in ideal circumstances.

Everyone seems to forget Darron was a pro at Brighton and therefore brings a lot of experience into games. OK he has no pace, but will win the ball and pass it on to someone who CAN do something more creative. Positionally he's better than other candidates too.

Barrowcliff was a pro at Brentford and also one of the mainstays in the Stevenage side which thrashed us at Wexham Park 2 years in a row. He's class whether at wing back or in midfield. Personally I prefer him in midfield especially as we don't have the likes of Haki or Metcalfe.

Has anyone noticed how the inclusion of these two takes the pressure off Ryan Spencer and frees him up to do good stuff where it hurts the oppo., e.g. Saturday - he scored the goal.

I agree about taking the pressure off of conference, butwe still need to be playing 4 across the middle or we'll keep getting burned down the wings or just overloaded in the middle. Three across the middle works with attacking fullbacks, but because we're playing 4-3-3, we can't leave 2 at the back, nor will our strikers drop deep enough on the wings to take some of the pressure off. Ive been coming to Slough games this season since a five year holiday in brum, but Wilko seems to know what he's doing, he won't jump out of a tackle, he'll distribute the ball sensibly and will hold it up as needs be.
