NG. Please don't bait duncs on my posts. Start a thread where you can say what you like to each other cos I'm bored of it now.

 

 

YV chill out its a bit of fun.... I see yet another one of my posts had been deleted.......nice !

 

NG, I am one of the most chilled out people you will meet, one day.

 

It just frustrates me when I have notifications on for when people post messages so I can keep up to date with things only to open the post and it's you baiting duncs or duncs commenting to you.

 

I, like bommie states sometimes find things funny (go sh1t a hedgehog) but sometimes it's just annoying, and now boring. So as stated, please do not do it on my posts or where I am involved, out of respect for other forum members, PLEASE.

Contracted players are not allowed to play Sunday football.

 

doesnt mean they dont play tho!!!

Might be going off on a tangent here but why on earth would anybody want to play saturdays and Sunday's?!? Surely if u give 110% on a Saturday for ur respective clubs u wouldn't even have the energy to play Sunday's.....

pagey theres some people like myself who dont have a life if it isnt for football and will take any chance they get to play even if that means playing saturday sunday and every other day of the week if theres football to be played theres people out there to play it

I appreciate what ur saying jackd however it might just be me but after Saturday games I'm in agony and the next day I'm even worse just couldn't imagine playing both days that's all

When i used to play Sundays aswell it was to play with mates in a more relaxed game of footy, where as Saturdays means more and hurts more when you lose. Also it was another good reason to go for a pint after. Must admit i dont miss the aching body on a Monday morning.

About 10 years ago a lot of players played both I played for domine ath we had most of uxbridge first team and we where one of the best teams in middx but all good mates as well.watching Sunday teams these days and the standard is nowhere near what it was

i have mates who play saturday, sunday, midweek and 5 a side its a lot but its well worth it when i was a kid we had to play 5 times a week hard work but well worth it painfully yes but enjoyable the trophies dont get themselves on the shelf got to put effort in and a lot of it

I'm sure most people know this but I know many footballers of a higher level than this that still play Sunday League. I've known players get injured on a Sunday and have to miss Step 4 games. I've known players get bookings on a Sunday which has resulted in bans/fines/points deductions for the parent club. it goes on. Seems it's always gone on and always will.

Not all Saturday players (contract or non contract) will be in that starting line up every week and may feel that playing on a sunday will keep their sharpness up and match fitness going, so sometimes it is a bonus when a saturday player can play sundays.

 

Not that i do cos my body couldnt take it and the strife would divorce me!

 

*Note to self: MUST FIND A SUNDAY TEAM!!!
