We could be here forever if we start talking about our legal system.

 

Everyone will have their own perspective as to what sentence fits what crime. 100% agreement with others is rare.

 

I don't think that murderers, rapists and paedos fits with the level of crime we are talking about. In my opinion, these fit the worst possible crime that can exist.

 

What we are discussing is very much in the bracket of tax evasion, benefit fraud etc. This is slightly lower that the above.

 

 

 

Our next session is tonight so I will get hold of the facts so that everyone knows if he has signed on at Cranfield.

hi mate, good luck to you too. have to say its been bloody difficult trying to sign so many new players to become competitive in a league that i believe this year will have 5, 6 or even 7 teams going for it. Kings langley have to very good and proven forwards this year so they will probably be up there. i am now on hols so Lee is doing all the hard work and more. We obviously have discussed certain signings and all i can say is no more players will be signing from Berko !!!!

We look foreward to you guys visiting for the 2nd game of the season, lets hope plenty of spectators turn up for what will be a great local derby.

One of our managers has just confirmed the facts for everyone regarding the issue on behalf of Cranfield so I think that pretty much ends the discussion with our involvement.

 

It's totally understandable that this issue should arise and it is good that it is discussed. Like I said originally I knew nothing about the whole scenario until I read it on here.

 

I'd suggest that a return to Berko is now on the cards.

I was saying plenty of people who commit crimes and terrible ones at that get off lightly and regardless hiding behind the "they served their time" argument doesn't wash with me. I've never said what he did can be likened to rape and murder I was simply taking a point to it's extreme. However if you can quote me then please do. And I don't agree people should move on it was a disgusting thing to do and people feel that and don't like it so why should they move on if they feel strongly about it?

also are you saying because the american justice system is clearly flawed ours isn't????? Or not as bad??? Because there are a wealth of horrible cases where justice has not been served in this country too.....and America's system is not relevant to this point is it?? Last time I checked we have freedom of speech in this country, so are you saying once something has gone through the courts we must accept it and not have an opinion and air it? I think you may be playing devils advocate which is fair enough, but if not I've got to wonder......

I'd have thought - all considerations of justice being served and time paid etc aside that the only people who should be having such violent thoughts or reactions against this bloke could or would be the people that he perpetrated this fraud on, the club and players that he belonged to/with, that he let them down.

 

Apart from that I wouldn't trust the guy and I can understand because of the nature of what he did if others didn't but surely it is up to any new club personnel that he intended playing for making their own decisions about how sincere he was now and whether they would trust him or want to play with him.

 

Otherwise you are just working yourselves up all un-necessary like!

Basically, yes. Accept the outcome, but you can air an opinion. I don't like the outcome of his court case as much as the next person. However, If you feel like you want to beat the crap out of him. Let me know the date and time, so I can have the cops there. Maybe you or Mr.Angry (how appropriate) can have your day in court to regarding battery.

 

In any case, it appears that he will not be playing for Cranfield and should now be a moot point to discuss on here.

Fair play Winslow, I understand. I have no connection to anybody about this. Just seeing it from an outsiders view. I would've thought he would get some jail time. All I can say that he must've been in a real state to do what he did. I couldn't do it and live with myself. Of course, the shame he has to live with for the rest of his life is a punishment as well.
