Does anyone have the following information

 

1) players with over 100 appearances for AFC Hornchurch,Hornchurch FC,upminster & Hornchurch Or Upminster Wanderers

 

2) goalscorers over 50 goals for the club in all competitions

Yes but does anyone have a list

We have a historian but I never see any history,we should have somewhere (maybe on a website) where all this information is readily available

Nearly 24 hours after this information was requested,still no answer from anyone,which quite frankly amazes me,seeing as we have a club historian and at least 2 other people who take statistics at every available opportunity.

Surely these sort of statistics should be vital on a website for fans to look up on,fans always want to know these sorts of information and they are better on the website than sitting in someones folder just for their own personal gratification.If you go to the club history section of the website,it just details a brief history of the club in its various different guises,nothing more which is poor to be honest.

 

The recorder wanted some statistics the other day from me,regarding thommo,although after about 20 calls we got there in the end,it was somewhat embarrasing as a club that we couldn't give the information straight to the recorder off a simple website.

I am sure if sidders was provided with the information for the website,that it could be put on there without any great difficulty,especially if it is on someones disk already,to be honest,every player who has played for the club and scored etc etc should be on there,also all matches,scorers,attendances from every season should be easily accessed on the website.

Maybe the people that have all the information are currently on holiday or not able to get to a computer?

one of them doesn't come on here any more because some naughty romford fan was horrible to him.

Hardly doing the club any good tbh and this isn't about the owners,its about people who hold such information for their own personal use rather than for the clubs fans and other people who could use it.

I have spoken to Tony Middleton this morning.

Him and Fred Hawthorn are in the process of bringing a book out on the History of the club.It is hoped that this book will be out some time in the autumn.

In the meantime,I asked if we could have a record of all player appearances & goals for the website but Tony doesn't want to do this as he feels it will affect sales of the book.

He has however given permission for us to put the top appearance makers & goslscorers on the website for our reference and it can be updated when players reach that level (hopefully tuohy will get into the 50+ goals this season)

But he has categorically said no to putting full details of appearance & goslscorers on any website as him and Fred have done all the work,so if anyone wants the rest of the info they will have to buy the book (all proceeds to go to the club)

I played lots of games in the 'stiffs' and scored about 10 goals over a period of about 12 yrs. Not a bad return
