Good luck to Guernsey FC

Recommended Posts

are you going to phone The daily Mirror and ask them to put it on the front page? You've asked this question on nearly every thread. They must have the lease or they wouldnt have been allowed to play in the ccl. They were told to prove they had a lease on monday at the AGM

I have told my wife i got the managers job at Guernsey F.C and that every other week i wil be away for

the weekend. I don't think she has anyway of proving me wrong.

Anyone fancy coming as a coach ?

I am also looking for a kit man, physio and assistant !

Will the match officials for Guernsey's home games be from Guernsey, the mainland or mixed depending on which officals are allocated the games?

mores the point will they be fit wherever their from

No matter how fit they are Duncs, they would still make the wrong decisions in some peoples eyes

Think BJR is the man for this one

Nowt to do with me, TC.

Kevin S will undoubtably reveal all, (if you'll pardon the expression), when he deems it fit to do so.

Back on topic - I don't know if the Guernsey side in the games will be the Guernsey side in the CCL but they won their three group games.

Beat Isle of Man 2-1, Gotland 5-2 and The Falkland Islands 5-0.

They now play either Saaremaa (another one for Google) or Åland in the semis tomorrow. Those two have a penalty shoot-out today to decide who goes through.

In other news, Rhodes have been kicked out and banned from competing in the football in 2013 and 2015 for an incident involving the fourth official in their game v Jersey.

Barry from Sandhurst was at Rhodes' game against Greenland and said Rhodes had two players sent off in injury time in that game so they sound a bit, erm, tasty.

Good man VPCTFC - was wondering how they were going to sort the semi final oppo out.

Think i read somewhere that Guernsey played Rhodes last time and Rhodes had a few sent off in that encounter (many years ago, on holiday in Rhodes - happened to watch a match between two sets of hotel teams - fairly brutal to say the least!), so they were happy to avoid them.

LOL, I thought the comments being made about Rhodes last week were scaremongering. Clearly not!!

I was at the game in 2003 where 5 Rhodes players (and 1 Guernsey) got sent off and the game had to be abandoned.

Just to confirm the Island games squad will be pretty close to the side that starts the first league game in CCL D1
