last night's showing , we can't win this league

I agree about Andy Douglas. I think he should be dropped in favour of Andrew Martin. I think George Borg would be doing Douglas more of a favour by bringing him on from the bench and blooding him in a little more. To be fair, Taff deserves a starting berth and I'm not entirely sure why he was dropped in the first place. However I hope he proves me wrong.

I tend to agree with that last post...AD is a very good player but would probably do better for 60 minutes rather than the full 90 whilst he gets match fitness....

Taffy has to work harder if he wants to get GB's attention....he does sometimes go to sleep whilst arguing with a lino or the ref over some silly point or other...if he got on with it more he'd be twice the player...

it'll all settle down shortly...we aint doing to bad are we...

From what Jonah was saying, it will be quite a while.

Taffy is great but he seems to prefer to pull the opposite players shirt rafther than attempt to out run him. I'm still with Dougie i thought he had an excellant game at Thurrock and given the time and chance to fit on the pitch, he will come good.

Uncles master plan sounds good - play him for 60 mins then sub him for Taff or whoever else Borgie deems would suit the situation. This way, the Dreadlocked one can improve his match fitness but not have to worry about lasting the full 90 minutes - he can put all his effort into the time he has on the pitch and hey presto, 5 goals in 10 minutes...or something.

Can I be manager? Or at have one of those big warm coats (it's getting cold, isn't it? )?
