Ideas for next season

Hi All

Ok so I have been thinking of some ideas for next season in order to get more people through the gate.

They are as follows:

1) Free tickets for school children..... I remember when I was at school and Lloyd Owusu came in and handed out tickets. We could do one school at a time and possibly concentrate our efforts in the Farnham Royal area also as its close.

2) Promote through non league day and get the club involved in it. We could offer half price entry to all season ticket holders of other clubs

3) Get local business on side to give away half price entry for using their services. For example if the Crooked Billet were to get on board we could do eat here and get half price entry to next game.

I had a long list but it all escapes me now.

Anyway keen to hear everyones thoughts

Trust you to come up with that one Nigel!!!

We have tried with the schools Mark for the last couple of seasons, leaflets have been left with free entry for children if accompanied by an adult, still its an idea to keep trying with.

trying to exploit social networking may get a few more interested in the club and convince more to come and watch the club. the facebook page for Slough Town FC for example has 501 people that like it. now im fairly sure quite a few of those dont come regularly to matches if at all. i know there may be reasons such as having moved out of the area etc but maybe creating facebook events for those fans could pursuade some less regular/new fans

It's harder than it sounds. The largest obsticle the club faces is that it plays in Beaconsfield.

I'd suspect marketing aspects to increase once the club moves back to Slough. Social networking will be a part of it.

completely understandable. no doubt potential new fans would much prefer travelling a couple of miles at most instead of the 8 miles or whatever it is from Slough to Beaconsfield.

when/if we move back to Slough hopefully we can get a huge push going for this sort of thing
