Season Ticket Payment option

Was reading on another forum that they have an option for a season ticket payment plan.

 

This got me thinking.

 

Should we be offering this type of service?

 

Such as pay £55 twice??

Surely it is more beneficial to the club to get as much money up front as possible, so dont see 2 x £55 payments as a good option.

I agree too but if people cannot afford it then surely its better to have two lump sums throughout the season??

Your right but would the club lose out on having the money up front by offering this option?

 

 

I think a certain number of people would take up this option whether they could afford it or not.

 

 

An option could be that if you pay the full amount up front you will be entered into the £1,000 draw and if you pay half now and half later you will not be entered into the draw.

some clubs offer a "half season" ticket where you pay to see the first/second half of the season but the price still offers a discount on full match day prices. perhaps this could be tried.

I think the club could still lose out if offered at the beginning of the season but certainly worth a go halfway through the season.

There is another option to spread the cost , 21 payments of £8 - the single payment for the whole season is by far the best value and benefits both the supporters and the club to the maximum - least cost to administor, the club can have a clearer idea of income and just a single application form to fill in.

this system is already in operation it's called paying at the gate.
