Steve Sinclair possibly leaving

In the express today it says that Steve Sinclair is considering a number of Southern Premier sides and does not think that the pitch we have can satisfy his footballing style.

 

If you are reading this Steve I would urge you to reconsider this. Remember that Beaconsfield are doing all they can and that half of the games are away anyway.

 

Why don't you give it a god and see what happens with our pitch and if not then make a decision.

 

I really hope you stay for our title winning season and I'm sure everyone on here will be in agreement

TBH I can't really blame him. Apart from the cabbage patch not suiting his style of play, I wouldn't be surprised if the injury he picked up last season might have tipped the scales.

What are Beaconsfield doing to make the pitch playable?

 

With no news so far on what Beaconsfield's intentions are to make the pitch playable, as far as I know, we are all in the dark.

of course it would be good if he stayed BUT you can also see why he would want to go. his game is all about keeping the ball on the ground and running with it and its not easy to do that at all on a tired pitch

 

whatever the decision he has been a great servent to the club over the last 2 or so years

According to the express they have a new irrigation system and SB has been sending pictures to sincs on the work being done

 

Also SB says he has far fewer worries than this time last year about the pitch

All i know is what I read in the express and it states that Steve Bateman has seen the work being doen and unlike last year he is not worried.

If he does leave, good luck to him but if we go up I wouldn't bet against him coming back!!!

 

Would love to see us sign Christian Nannetti from Ashford even if Sincs doesn't leave... Imagine those 2 bombing down either side on a good pitch!!!

I still think Chris Herron has a lot to offer too and wouldnt want him sitting on the bench as he has a lot of impact

I agree, I think Chris Heron has the ability to be a very good player for us.

 

 

My only question mark would be his fitness levels.

 

 

If he can get himself as fit as possible during pre-season and then stay injury free I think he has the potential to be a key player for us next season.

Just seen on Twitter that Herron hasn't committed to returning to Slough yet, he's still undecided!!!

This is bad news. If we lose both of them then we will have to bring people in.

 

I honestly thought that with a good defence and Hezza and Sincs down the wings and a target man to aim for with Danny Burnell making a nuisance of himself as well as a solid centre mid we could win the league.

 

Hezza and Sincs willl be hard to replace.

i like Herron but Bateman clearly has some sort of reason why he doesnt play him all the time. whether thats fitness issues, workrate worries or whatever i dont know

 

Nannetti is a no go i woulda thought i read he was trialing at league 1 or 2 sides
