Nice to see ex-Rebel Naseem Bashir get the manager's job at Hayes and Yeading United, who undoubtedly had a lot of interest in the position. He was always a committed player for us back in the 80s and the best of luck to him.

Slough's certainly got a few ex-players/managers, managing and coaching now all through the leagues.Hopefully this will be of benefit to the team when looking to bring players in. Look at this list of plethora of talent - Dave Kemp [stoke City], Brian McDermott [Reading], Naseem Bashir [Hayes and Yeading], Steve Thompson [Woking], Alan Dowson [Kingstonian], Ian Hazel [Carshalton] , James Pritchard/ Matt Miller[Flackwell Heath], Byron Walton[ Beaconsfield SYCOB or Windsor FC bound?] ,Derek Sweetman[Holyport], Mark Adams [Cockfosters].

Fellow fans,have I missed anyone?

Thought of three more, Laurie Craker [burnham], Trevor Roffey [goalkeeping coach at Hampton and Richmond FC], Stuart Cash [AFC Wimbledon].

Also isn't Paul Hardyman at some team or other?
