Southend Manor won the sportsmanship award last night,Dwight Gayle of course was recipant of the Don Douglas award for top goalscorer and jim flanagan won the Secretary of the year award.

why should they? dirtiest team we played last year, coachie's reputation for fair play is unearned in my opinion,i think hullbridge came second.

Ha ha ha I couldn't believe last night when Derek announced we finished runners-up!!!! With the Bakers in our squad and Manor without JJ that's unfair!lol I thought we had the worst disciplinary record this year??

To compensate on that after 21 years of trying we finally won the South East Essex Championship leaving behind teams of the caliber of Southend Manor,Bowers and Basildon

ah yes the south east essex championship,as anyone else heard of this trophy before? no i thought, not its a competition invented by Mr Roe a Hullbridge supporter, what a shame theres never been a mention of it before until Hullbridge actually won it. typical hullbridge they win a competition which no one else knew they were playing in.

 

 

now we know there is such a competition next season lets hype it and make something of the 12 matches and update the league table.

Coachie the point is you won a competition which only hullbridge knew they were competing in,after posting your stuff about the sportsmanship award i've now got doyley on my back asking for a stewards enquirty as we only got 76 points.it appears that 75 of our points were from ESL matches.

I told you that it was mentioned in the ESL booklet given to everyone the other night at the AGM.Regarding the points our score is over 51 games because as I said to you Hullbridge notoriously does well in outside competitions.About Doyle tell him to enjoy the rest and not bother about Runwell.He's busy enough with his son's team at Bowers.

Bit disrepectful to Runwell Enrico. Thought you were a better man than that. Not going to bite or chomp but it makes me feel a bit sad when people I consider a "football friend" comes out with stuff like that.
