Good work Ian. Any ideas when the campaign starts?

Nice to see the ESL with 18 teams, well done to the League Chairman, bet he is chuffed.

Also, anyone know when the FA Cup and FA Vase draws are released.

I see quantity over quality. Surely all step.5 teams should have a clubhouse as a bare mininum, accepting another team without one sends out the wrong message, in my hujmble opinion.

Bgu, Apsa, Eton, Barking and now Bengal.

Agree,we played Eton manor @ barking in the Essex senior cup and most of our fans wouldn't go again because they couldn't get refreshments before/during & after the game.

There are clubs in the Olympian with better set ups but they are hindered by the most ridiculous rules when they could be given 12 months to sort any issues out.

reserve league officially starts on the 20th, but can start earlier if teams can organise it, but no earlier than the 6th. looks a strong league

Does the res league start on the 6th aswell or does it start later

You have teams like White Notley, Springfield, Broomfield, Old Chelmsfordians all are step.7 with a clubhouse, it is not rocket science, the esl or FA should be tougher with these clubs, they should be given a years notice and then demote them to step.7 if they dont provide it. I was angry at the amount of times i went to a night game in the esl and couldnt get food and drink after working during the day, it should be mandatory.:flame:

Only been to White Ensign once and that was the night they beat you from memory, but you got promotion to the esl, quite alot of hoppers that night.

Its all rather odd as FA Ground Grading Regs state quite clearly that all club in step 5 must have a clubhouse in, or adjacent to the ground.

This is not a dig at any of these clubs, but the last two times went to Apsa, we went to a Joe's cafe for food and drink, at the top of the carpark on the high street, but luckily we visited Saturday, if it had of been midweek would of had nothing. Clapton(midweek) had a clubhouse but provided no food equally as bad, but didnt know until went into ground and didnt eat till passed McDonalds after 10pm. p.s i love you all, but get yourselfs sorted.

I am glad Barking are sorting things out for supporters for next season and did i read Eton groundshare with W.Abbey or did i dream that? As that would be good as W.Abbey have a clubhouse.

I think that eton manor are playing at waltham abbey next season,do the ESL sometimes take clubs without five star facilities? yes, what else are they supposed to do allow the league to operate with 9 clubs.Basildon United need the ESL, we couldnt afford to move to Ridgeons or SSML therefore if we must accept clubs without top rate facilities to keep the League in existence then so be it.im not wishing to sound like an apologist for the ESL but what else can they do.it annoys me to have clubs with no clubhouses but its just a neccesity im afraid.
