fair play to Bateman he didnt have to provide such an in depth update. good to have such comunication between the staff and fans

 

awesome to have NBH back presuming he will now be back full time and work commitments will not get in his way

 

welcome to the club Alex Brown. lets hope the sheer size of him can make us more intimidating

 

very glad to hear that not only Woozley is staying but he is becoming coach and captain

 

Adam Martin staying also could be massive for us if he can get and stay fit

Will be interesting to see if Steve changes the system and uses Woozley, Bowden-Haase and Brown as 3 centre backs with Sweeney and Murphy as wing backs? As Woozley has been named captain he'd be a certain starter, so I wonder if Bowden-Haase and Brown will have to 'fight' it out for the other place, or could Nathan be deployed as a target man? Very interested to see what new players turns up for pre-season training and who else we sign, but looking great so far.

Have a horrible feeling that the player leaving is Danny Murphy... It could be Seeby though who we already know about...

 

So, squad so far:

 

GK - Bullivant, Fanner, Jackson

DEF - Sweeney, Brown, Bowden-Haase, Woozely, Perkins, Murphy?

MID - Sinclair, Porter, Coyne, Byrne, Logie, A.Martin, Swift, Herron

ATT - S.Martin, Sonner, Burnell, Abbey

 

If 3 or 4 are coming in, who will leave? Squad will be to big!!! I can see Porter, Logie, Simon Martin and Abbey going elsewhere to balance the books, I don't want any of them to leave but some players will have to go!!

Rob Bullivant isn't likely to feature at least in the early part of the season as Bateman has stated in his notes, you also missed out Sam Bateman. Just asked Danny Murphy on Twitter and he said, "I'll be back on the 2nd (when pre-season training starts), promotion needed."

If we play 3-5-2, Sinclair will play right wing back like he did under Bates at Hemel with Murphy or Herron left side
