Stadium clean up day

Sunday 26th June will be stadium clean up day this year.

There is alot to do with plenty of work in the bar,club shop and general stuff around the stadium.

As many people as possible would be appreciated and if you could bring down the usual stuff like tools,brooms etc it would be greatly appreciated

 

 

It will be from around 9am

As we are greatly restricted in our use of the ground.

Why do the Athletics Club not do anything.?

They must hold spectator meetings throughout the summer.

They spend their time dropping sweet wrappers and drinks tins etc between the seats.

No matter, I shall be there with my old broom which has had six heads and five handles.

Tbh I fully expect us to clear the place up and like in previous years,still get the odd comment of "why are you here today,we have Sundays".What will be interesting to see is once we have tidied the ground up,what sort of state will the place be in a few days before our first pre season game.Could be worth taking photos to show the council who really makes all the mess

Did get some funny looks from the athletics people when I was sweeping up before.

I'll make every effort to get down to help.

Good idea, why not give a broom to the stuck up dweebs from the Athletics Club and teach them how to sweep up their own mess!!

Just a reminder that it is the stadium clean up day this sunday.

At the moment,we have about 12 people who have told me they are coming.

We could really do with at least another 12 as there is plenty to do.
