Official Knaphill Football Club Statement

First Team Coach Position

Knaphill Football Club can confirm the departure of First Team Coach Neil Woodyer. Neil who rejoined the club in January has been offered a coaching role at both Conference South club’s Farnborough and Hampton & Richmond for which he is taking time out to decide his future.

Knaphill Joint First Team Manager David Freeman has released a statement saying;

“ Both Adie Wilson and myself were fully aware of Neil’s desire to coach at a higher level when I asked him to help us out back in January when we came in as caretaker managers and we said then we would not stand in his way should that opportunity arise, this has now come to fruitition and both Adie and I along with the club would like to thank Neil for his contribution in helping turning the teams fortunes around following a poor start to the season”

Knaphill Football Club would now like to advertise a position for a First Team Coach and anyone interested in the role should contact either David Freeman or Adie Wilson in the first instance. As most people are aware we are an ambitious club with ambitions to play at a higher level and our ground and facilities are first class along with our well known professional set up.

Contact details for both David Freeman and Adie Wilson can be found here. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/knaphillfootballclub/a/club-contacts-4741.html&page=2

thanks weebs,don't get me wrong is still a very good standard at a higher club but it must be a step down or maybe sideways but its certainly not upwards,I think its Paul he misses and he has always wanted to team back up with him if the truths known.

I hope Woody makes the right decision and will do everything I can to help him make that :)

neil will take his time and i am certan he will do whats right for him,he is a very good coach and what ever club/possition he chooses they will have themselves a great fella and very decent coach,even if he does have a [censored] haircut.
