Craig Moore has decided to step down as first team player manager with immediate effect.

 

Craig took on the role at the back end of the 2009/10 season and was handed the job full time in the summer along with John Comer. During the 2010/11 season there were some fine performances, however as Craig is still only 30 years old he has decided to concentrate on playing and the club wish to thank him for all his efforts this season. Craig will remain with the club as previously stated as a player.

 

The club would like to announce John Comer as the sole first team manager. He will be assisted by Kevin Bailey who has been promoted from reserve team assistant manager.

 

Former Bisley and Sheerwater chief John was part of the management duo last season and after assisting Martin Powell’s side that came so close to promotion 3 years ago, will look to take the club one step further his time. Kevin assisted Dave Kelly last season in guiding the reserves to their finest season in recent years finishing a credible 4th in the league and reaching the league cup final.

 

1st team coach Roland Baker(pictured) has left the club to take up a position with Farnborough Town Reserves. Roland arrived at the club at the end of 2008 and built up a great rapport with the players. Few in the non league game can match Roland’s dedication and the club and players would like to thank Roland for all his hard work over the past 3 years and hope to see him soon.

 

 

 

Following Dave Kelly’s resignation and Kevin Bailey’s promotion the club are delighted to announce new management team for the reserves.

 

Alex Palinski will be the new reserve team manager and he will be assisted by Ben Knight

 

The pair were previously at Cobham reserves where they more than held their own in the tough Suburban league despite being a step 6 side.
