Fans focus X1 v Woking Peacocks

Recommended Posts

well that just made me a very happy person seen as im a cobham fan and all that but wow when a defender is ur best player and u lose 5-1 im sure uve got problems im just hoping that they learn something from the 2 defeats they seem to pull out the big guns for woking but when its ffx1 they think there to good to turn up not looking good peacocks

I say peacocks need a change of manager. Is that a couple of 5-1 tonkings on the bounce now ? Surely a decent gaffer would sort out some of that suicidal defending i see on the video. No use boasting about winning some cup a couple of months back against a side full of Guildford and Woking alliance standard players

Some of my players dont even play in a team and most play at combined counties div 1 standard so i think playing against mostly prem and div 1 players we did well. We play once every year for charity.

it was a ringer called Dan Rice that scored the penalty.

Ex Guildford, Cove and Camberley!

It was YHWhitby who said it was Tom Yardley!

Sorry TRS I thought it was! Yardley was on pens in dressing room so assumed it was him.

Turns out he BOTTLED it ;)

Even watching it back the first time I didn't click

I don't think you can blame the defence. They were unfortunate to have an anchor behind them who wasnt doing a lot of moving so they were trapped with no outlet to lay the ball back to so they were always having to turn and on occasions get caught out. Our two center halves were our best players so I don't know what that means. Maybe that I was utterly useless. Pehaps.

If there is a next time, and I hope there is, i'm sure we will give you boys a good game. No point in making excuses about the game just gone though. We move on and if there is a next time go again and hopefully can win a prove a few people wrong. :)

Thought you did okay Dan. I know it was 5 but you made some good saves and I don't remember you having much of a chance with any of the goals. One worldy and the rest from close range with barely any defenders around.

Lol it's no secret that I might have lost a yard or too but even with one leg I'd still out sprint you son!!!

only one winner son.Spencer is deceptive though good over 4 yds, blowing out his ass after 6.Scotty is faster than 2 years ago when a snail beat him,oh that was me.Pagey only runs when he has a ball at feet,or one to chase.I'm better after a few drinks.
