The Counsellor
Royston have been busy http://www.roystontownfc.co.uk/club-news/crows-swoop-for-striker/ Could be a decent season for The Crows this time with the players they have

Elmo
Good luck to Ryan up at Royston, did well for us down in Tring last season, he has gone to a good club !!
Rhodes
Imagine if the Club were able to dual register Craig Hammond to play in some midweek games, it's a frightening thought isn't it but I doubt Cambridge City would allow it

syd_lexic
they going to be the team to beat this year thats for sure, i have heard if they dont win it this season Paul out Haha, is it April 1st again. I would have thought, he has the safest job in the SSML & probably in this region. From where they were when he took over & where they are now with a very good 1st team, strong reserves & an excellent youth set-up. I can't imagine for 1 second Royston would foolish enough to get rid of him.

What you say about the set up etc is correct and the job he has done to get them where they are, however, we all know about the frightening budget last season and they are still in the SSML Premier Division. Judging by players they have signed and some of the deals I have heard about, the budget has probably gone up even more this season - therefore, I think "are we there yet" might actually be right... Personally I think they will win the league..in the 1st half they were the best team to come to our place last season and they have clearly strengthened up top with Redford and potentially Becky. However, with the greatest respect to Paul, he should win the league this season with the budget he has, if he doesnt then he shouldnt be there the following season. syd_lexic
& most other clubs aswell Chins. Personally I never take any notice of who pays what or how much a certain player gets. There's so many bull$hit merchants around you don't know who to believe. Royston should have the strongest squad next season & should get promotion. It doesn't always work out like that, but I hope it does !

Not sure about the figures you mention BUFC but at the end of the day without a substantial budget it is unlikely you will win the league. Not sure that Chalfont had that much budget or that many of the competitive teams last season had £500. But we all know most teams play down whatever budget they have...but I can assure you there are several teams in the league who like to think they can be competitive who dont have a budget

This season it could be £150, £300, £450 ratio excluding Royston Based on the amount of the clubs pleading poverty, Royston should win the league by 18pts this season
