Club Levels

Hi guys,

 

i have been keenly reading various threads, quite enjoying this forum, and i keep coming up upon people commenting on their clubs being say level 5 or 4 for example.

Basically i am just interested as to what this means having never really heard of the grading of clubs before in detail?

i'm sure someone will give you the detail but here goes:

 

Step 6 football is Combined Counties div 1, wessex div 1, eastern counties div 1, sussex div2

Step 5 football is Combined counties prem, wessex prem, eastern prem, sussex 1

step 4 football is Ryman 1 north and south, southern 1 midlands and south west, northern 1 north and south

step 3 football is Ryman prem, Northern prem, southern prem

step 2 football is conference north and south

step 1 football is conference prem

 

this is the non league levels of football.

 

Hope i'm right after all of that.....

for example: has the windsor job gone? when is their a final decision on guildford? What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Thank you. That's makes sense, I looked it up on Wikipedia before and it said that combined counties etc was like 6/7 that's when I got confused.

But if there is a different levelling nationally to the one you guys talk about then that makes sense.

Also the speed of an unladen swallow......hilarious haha.

No the list JJ postd IS the National League System which the COmbined COunties is officially a part of. At the moment anyway!

It's a full moon tonite I think that may explain it.. Winsor job... decision after they obtain lease, Final decision re Guildford from what Chertseytown has posted re promotion is that Guildford are not promoted and as for the bird........... I will go with TC on that one...

Duncs,,,,, As soon as I was offered the Hampton job I phoned up Mr Stott at Windsor and withdrew my application. He understood and wished me good luck along with an invite to go and watch some games at Windsor. I can't comment on who else has gone for it mate as that would not be fair but I do know he has had a lot of interest from CCL Prem and above. Whoever gets it will be in for some exciting and challenging times.
